Basin PBS Selects Laura Wolf as GM/CEO

Permian Basin, Texas  October 29, 2018 — The Basin PBS board of directors announced today that Laura Wolf will join the organization as the next General Manager and CEO effective October 15, 2018.

“After a comprehensive search, the board is pleased to have found the best individual to assume leadership of this incredible, local media organization,” said Dr. Robert Brescia, chairman of the Basin PBS board. “Ms. Wolf has an amazing track record of creativity, television knowledge and passion that makes her qualified to lead Basin PBS into a successful future.”

“I am honored and so excited for the opportunity to lead this organization of creative, dedicated and talented staff. I look forward to providing the Permian Basin with more of the exceptional programming they have come to know and love, both on and off the screen, from Basin PBS,” said Ms. Wolf.

Ms. Wolf attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, California. With almost 20 years experience, Ms. Wolf brings leadership experience as the general manager at KPEJ TV here in the Permian Basin back in 2000, the general manager at KHQA in Quincy, Illinois in 2014 as well as at KVII in Amarillo in 2015. She has also been the market manager at KVEO in McAllen and most currently the media manager at Altice Media here in the Permian Basin.
