About the Festival
Get ready for a FREE day of family fun at the 6th Annual Basin PBS & Camp Fire West Texas Back to School Festival!
Meet Clifford the Big Red Dog, explore Birdwell Island, enjoy hands-on activities from community organizations, and discover helpful resources as you prepare for the new school year. Plus, school supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. It's the perfect way to kick off the school year with learning, laughter, and a little Clifford-sized fun!

We ask all event sponsors who set up a booth to include student giveaways at their booth.
Meaningful items are suggested, such as:
School Supplies: Spiral notebooks, pens, highlighters, folders, pencil pouches or pencil boxes, Expo markers
School Essentials: Water bottles, lunchboxes, headphones or earbuds
Classroom Support: Kleenex, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer
Hygiene Items: (travel size) Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, lip balm

Booth Option
A booth is optional. If a sponsor chooses to have one, we ask that they provide student giveaways, which may be branded with their company logo. Students and families will visit booths throughout the event to collect items.
Supply Kits include: 24-count crayons, Elmer’s glue sticks, 4-pack Expo markers, Blunt-tip scissors, Composition notebooks, 10-count washable markers, Colored pencil boxes, Wide-ruled notebook paper packets.

Join Basin PBS in making our Back to School Festival a fun, welcoming day for families across the Permian Basin!
We’re looking for dependable, friendly volunteers to help with setup, greeting guests, guiding families, distributing supplies, and keeping things running smoothly.
No special skills required—just a big heart and a willingness to help!
